** A Gold Coast paramedic in New South Wales was medevaced to hospital Friday with abdominal injuries after an ambulance/car crash that saw the EMS unit roll several times. The Sydney Morning Herald (Toby Crockford/October 27) said the incident occurred in Tweed Heads as medics were transporting a heart attack patient to hospital. According to the newspaper, the car in the accident was towing a boat onto an off ramp at the time.
