** Indiana combat medic killed in plane crash laid to rest

** Funeral services were held Monday in Middletown, Indiana for a US Navy medic killed in a military plane crash in Mississippi in July. The Greensburg Daily News (Christopher Stevens/August 3) said the commemoration for HMI Ryan Lohrey, 30, saw some 600 people attend to pay their respects. Along with family and friends, 60 Marine Corps colleagues were also present. Lohrey was remembered as a resilient, patient, and kind person who cherished his family. He leaves behind his wife of one month and two children.
