** Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman in Australia raked over coals for press conference language
** A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman has been raked over the coals by the public after describing injuries sustained by victims of a Coomera theme park accident Tuesday as incompatible with life. The Daily Mail (Louise Cheer/October 26) said Acting Supervisor Gavin Fuller uttered the words at a press conference. According to the newspaper, social media pundits immediately reacted, labeling Fuller cold and unfeeling. Several journalists echoed the sentiment in their own online posts. Fuller was describing the Gold Coast’s Dreamworld accident on the Thunder River Rapids water ride in which a brother and sister, as well as two other people, died. So far, the Queensland Ambulance Service has had no comment on the fracas.
