** Initial information into a Monday fire at East Surrey Hospital, Redhill that destroyed three ambulance has been put down to an electrical fault as the cause. That is the word from the BBC (June 8) which said the blaze first began in a private ambulance whose oxygen cylinders exploded. The conflagration then spread to two more EMS units parked next to the burning rig. As a result of the fire, the hospital was forced to shut its emergency department for several hours. No one was injured in the incident.
